It’s funny how we all like to talk about ourselves, but when it comes to writing “about” yourself, the words seem to disappear.
So, let’s give this a shot.
I’m a blogging junky. How many blogs have I started? Well, I have founded and currently run two other blogs: Independent Fashion Bloggers (2007) and Eat, Sleep, Denim (2010). Then there are the blogs that I started but aren’t kept up anymore… The Coveted (2007-2013) and Shoe Kitten (2011).
Then I had a baby.
They say everything changes when you have a baby, and I thought I was immune to that, because you know… we all think we are the exception. But when it changed for me, I didn’t realize how EXCITED I would be about it. Here I was, responsible for showing this little guy the world. How many cool things can you do in this world? A lot. I went to design school in London, I used to want to be an artist. I am married to a product designer. So, basically we love cool shit.
I also like making cool shit.
Ok, so I’m a mom, and I swear. My dad had the mouth of a sailor because he was literally a sailor. I learned it from there.
What else can I say? Oh yeah!
What is Mrs. Peasy all about?
As much as I like doing stuff, I’m basically lazy. Yep. I love binge watching Netflix or Hulu. And laying on the sofa. But not more than cuddling with my guys.
Basically what I’m saying, is that creating cool stuff shouldn’t be hard. Life is hard enough. I’ll try to make it so all the projects here are easy enough that anyone can to them. They (hopefully) won’t take too much of your time, and probably can be done while binge watching Netflix or while your kids (if you have them) are sleeping. I’ll take care of the hard part (scouring the world for ideas, figuring out how to make them easy for you). And you… have fun. You deserve it.
